...so i finished all of my reports...transferred all of my open cases to dan...and bounced...
...now i'm home...packing...doing laundry...getting things in order...
...christopher just texted...he's on his way down from new york...should be here soon....
...time to get it in gear...

you now, you are almost there. You are going in there tomorrow the very end, all alone, but really there are a ton of people out here all holding your hands and thinking of you.

I thought we'd never see this night. What a journey of love and courage it has been. But before we rejoice on the other side I want to thank you.
I thank you for being able to do what I could not do.
I thank you for eliminating so much fear from the rest of both of our lives.
I thank you for trying to be courageous in my presence even though I knew what was going on in your heart.
I thank you for enlisting so many wonderful, wonderful people to give you love and support (it certainly helped me too).
I thank you for the opportunity to be your Mom (not that you had any choice in the matter) but you have taught me so much about what life means.
